First Semester of EACH year

Starts from 1^st September

Ends in the last week of December

Exams are held in the last week of December and continue up to first week of January

Winter Break:   After the exams students have holidays up to  6^st February

Second Semester of each year

Starts from 7^st February

Ends in the last week of May

Exams are held in the last week of May and continues up to first - second week of June

Award of Degree: 

The students who pass their final exams held in May/June are awarded State Degrees in a Convocation Ceremony held in the month of June every year.  The students completing General Medicine course are awarded the degree of M.D. (Physician).

Summer Break: After the exams students have holidays upto 31^st August
